DAVID KOMA MEN'S
'INTERVENTION'
- A Soft Rebellion in the Marble Room -
SPRING/SUMMER 2026
For his Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection, David Koma unveiled a refreshing take on masculinity—cool, sensual, and brimming with controlled flamboyance. Set against sleek marble backdrops in Paris, the presentation was a balancing act between precision and play, elegance and ease.
Koma’s signature sculptural aesthetic softened here, reimagined through sheer mesh layers, gauzy knits, and relaxed tailoring. Floral appliqués bloomed on lapels, tank tops, and cardigans, suggesting a romantic counterpoint to the sharply tailored trousers and oversized outerwear. The footwear? Flip-flops. A casual wink to the collection’s breezy undercurrent, nodding to spontaneity and grounded luxury.
Textures were key: buttery leather met delicate embroidery, and glimmering beading contrasted with laid-back jersey. Accessories, such as oversized totes and standout millinery, punctuated the looks with quiet drama. Beauty was raw, clean-skinned, and lived-in—emphasizing a nonchalant, real-world charm.
The palette remained faithful to neutrals—black, white, olive, and muted tones—yet the pieces pulsed with life through thoughtful layering and playful contrast. It was less about overt statements and more about a confident, modern rhythm—one that allows softness to coexist with strength.
Koma's first men’s offering feels like a deliberate, luxurious fall into ease. It doesn’t scream for attention; it holds it.
