…back to teviotdale…
SPRING/SUMMER 2026
the central palladian window at teviotdale—thom’s 18th century country home in the hudson river valley—provides a look into the designer’s world for spring 2026: a merging of urban and pastoral life with a distinct east coast sensibility. the ease of american style, classic prep with a twist, everyday sportswear refined, iconic workwear with a tailored finish, and a celebration of hector’s 10th anniversary.
to mark the occasion, the hector bag is reissued in new colors alongside a special hair accessory that outlines his long, low-slung figure. animated water-color prints and toiles de juoy chronicle hector’s life in the city and country on poplin, silk twill, and cotton canvas. thom’s beloved dachshund also assumes a stately stance above a crest in a reference to collegiate heraldry.
expanding on the iconography of american athleticism—a central source of inspiration for thom in life and dress—gold bullion tennis racquets meet cricket knits, varsity jackets, and perforated knits that mimic sport pinnies.
in wool seersucker, cotton crepe, plaid cool wool, eyelash ribbon tweed, and a new lightweight wrinkle-free organic cotton, this season’s tailoring tempers classic gray, navy, and black with pops of red, pink, and green. playful intarsia inlays recall bikinis while the corset top simultaneously alludes to 18th century stays and the one-piece swimsuit. the utility belt with a pleated skirt panel serves as an unexpected men’s layering piece.
the collection’s versatile black tie assortment reimagines the time-honored tenets of eveningwear. the bikini motif reemerges as swarovski crystals embroidered into a black mohair skirt suit. crafted by a heritage french mill, a custom developed black satin ribbon tweed is fashioned into both classic tailoring and the utility pocket jacket. a smattering of gold and silver bullion appliques and glimmering sequins highlights thom’s unique approach to evening dressing and complements his precise, sculpted silhouettes.
outerwear, footwear, and accessories serve as intermediaries between urban adventures and country retreats alike. alpaca wool and tweed top coats with strong shoulders, generous cocoon coats, and variations on the trench complement utilitarian layers including the men’s water-proof cordura® field jacket and women’s cropped down jacket. the polish of loafers, wingtips, and mules counters the ease of sneakers and our new hiking boot.
further iterating on utilitarian staples, thom makes denim his own by way of japan’s finest mill. crafted with a 13.75 oz raw indigo denim with a structured hand and thom’s quintessential backstrap detail, each piece is finished with vintage chain-stitched hems. capturing the ease and simplicity of mid-century american style, these silhouettes balance the integrity of workwear with refined tailoring. a nod to the past, shaped for the present, the denim capsule captures thom’s ethos of pushing classic design into new territory.
