SUMMER 26 REBEL REBEL
Dare to question.
Inspired by the avant-garde artists of the 20th Century, Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest present the 2026 Summer Paris Runway collection – a daring examination of form.
Unleashed from constraints, unbound from tradition. A new sense of order. A new way to wear. Summer 26 references a series of contemporary masters, exploring the expression of figure and form to cast a fresh lens over the silhouette. Roots are revisited. History is unravelled. Home is regrown. Evolved. Elevated. Constructed. Deconstructed. Rebel. Rebel.
The subject is suspended in proportional play, revealing a sequence of wearable sculptures, feminine delicacies and unseen lines. Hazed cascades, hand-pleated movement and dappled dimensions take the space. Volume is released in fresh breadths, alive and lithe, grounded yet open. Folds, tucks and hand-stitched gathers hold each gesture in place, as lengthened flourishes and layered arrays stretch in infinite motion.
Contemporary visions meet house foundations, with appliqué petals, cloudy expansions, and sensate fringing vibrating throughout. Matte rippled ridges, hyper-sheen glints, airy sheer veils – each texture a story of then and now. Aje handwriting is scripted in lush, layered raffias, ultra-fine crinkles, raw cut hems and tonal topstitching. The archival revival. The moving museum. Rebel. Rebel.
Vegan leather explores innovative finishes, broderie anglaise trails effortless cool denim, sensory knits cocoon and compress, tough biker layers add structural edge. Flying brushed finishes and hand-hammered bead hardware follow, recalculating outfitting with wild refinement.
Reflective of natural Australian beauty, palette presents hues inspired by the rich and diverse landscape with earth tones, dusted pastels and hyper-pigment pulses. Transparencies and opacities keep conversation, with sun-bleached qualities meeting vivid manifestations of hand-painted prints. The artist is honoured in depictions of native flora, intricate blossoms and technical sketched placements over melting ombré. Light flashes in angular qualities, chiselled
chromatics and sequin-stacked shine. Ebbing. Flowing. Changing. Scaling. Rebel.
Rebel.
The wardrobe, reworked. Elegance, undone. Aje, in pure form.
Summer 26 Rebel Rebel arrives, presented on the Paris Fashion Week Runway.
