Bedtime Stories

Not for life, just tonight is my mood.

— Addison Rae

The room is bathed in a warm, amber-coloured haze. The only light is a lamp on a coffee table and a neon light coming from outside. You hear slow, hypnotic music, the deep bass vibrating through the floor. She lifts her chin and slides a hand along her side, feeling the texture of the lace. It's not a shy gesture; it's a mapping of her own perimeter.

She slowly unties a bow. Not to undress, but to observe the delicacy of her touch.

Moving to the rhythm of the music, she dances not to be watched, but as a way of taking possession of her kingdom, like a ritual in a sanctuary.

Her seduction is not an invitation, but an exercise of power over her own space and body.

She doesn't want to be desired; she wants to be the reason for the tension in the room.

Always playing around the edge - sophisticated one moment, alluring the next. Playful around her duality, dreamy but always dominant. Her body is the diary she lets others read.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, her back straight, she takes a dark lipstick from the bedside table, applying it without a mirror with the precision of someone who knows every inch of her face by heart.

Stretched across the bed, she takes space without apology. Arms spread, gaze lifted.
