MONTSAND

“Rêverie”

MONTSAND Spring/Summer 2026

Marking Montsand’s return with the Spring/Summer 2026 collection Rêverie at London
Fashion Week, Creative Director Diệp Yến presented designs inspired by the artistic
journey of French painter Odilon Redon. Rêverie traces the shifts within Redon’s inner
world, from his dramatic black-and-white works to dreamlike fields of pastel blooms.
Color became a symbolic turning point, intertwined with the late birth of his son, opening
a softer, more romantic perspective on life. This spiritual transformation ignited the

creative spark behind Montsand’s vision, celebrating beauty as a living concept - ever-
changing, fluid with each emotion and personal gaze.

Throughout Rêverie, a translucent foundation serves as the defining structure that
shapes the silhouettes. Draped over it are precise tailoring and layers of delicate lace
and tulle, shimmering with hand-crafted details realized through thousands of hours of
artistry. This unseen frame resembles the women in Redon’s paintings - rarely
portrayed in full, yet luminous, captivating from within.
Through this poetic metaphor, Montsand conveys that when inner beauty is cared for
and nurtured, one’s presence naturally radiates, luminous, and alive. Rêverie is an
invitation to contemplate the inner self, where beauty manifests in many forms along
each personal journey of discovery.
