TTSWTRS unveiled its second couture collection, SS26 — Art Is My Religion, on September 14 at Lavan Chelsea, during New York Fashion Week. The presentation took the form of a deeply immersive fashion performance, where technology, music, and human expression converged into a singular, transformative experience.

 

At the heart of the presentation is a bespoke projection — an evolving visual narrative that interacts with models and space alike, amplifying the meaning of each garment. More than a backdrop, it becomes a living myth: a sacred passage through elemental forms and emotional states, from the silence of stone to the pulse of skin.

 

Following its FW25/26 couture debut, the new collection continues the brand’s more-than-decade-long journey of challenging fashion norms and redefining contemporary couture. At its core, the collection examines the passage from the earthly to the divine, proposing a new form of faith rooted in radical authenticity and fearless reinvention.

 

The journey unfolds in three stages: the earthly, the mutated, and the divine. The first reflects the human condition, its fragility, and the interventions that alter the body. The second explores transformation — a mutation of form, identity, and material. The final stage ascends into the realm of deities, envisioning humanity’s transcendence into a god-like state.

 

Avant-garde silhouettes are crafted from innovative materials and layered with experimental techniques. Some pieces require hundreds of hours of meticulous handiwork, while others emerge from hand-draped fabrics and artisanal dyeing methods. Iconographic references appear throughout, including Buddhist artworks sent directly from Tibet. One of the central creations is a leotard encrusted with crystals grown directly onto the fabric — an organic process that gives the impression of a living organism capable of reshaping matter.

 

The result is a series of ethereal garments that blur the line between body and spirit, flesh and myth. Each piece becomes a relic of transformation, capturing a step along the journey from vulnerability to transcendence.

 

The collection debuted on September 14th at Lavan Chelsea 541.

The sound for an immersive experience was created by Assia Ahhatt — GRAMMY®️ Voting Member, GRAMMY nominee, and laureate of international competitions in France and Italy. Her latest album, Born in Kyiv, conveys both tender femininity and powerful strength — expressed through the language of music.
