WILLY CHAVARRIA

'HURON'

SPRING/SUMMER 2026

Willy Chavarria defines a new era of fashion luxury. The brand presents HURON, their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, furthering Willy Chavarria’s concept of what fashion means in a world of uncertainty.

This moment was about reflection. The dehumanization of how immigrants are being treated in the United States. The show opened with thirty-five men in white t-shirts made in partnership with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). This moment was in reference to Salvadoran prisons where people are being profiled and persecuted with no due process.

Willy is a close ally of ACLU. The T-shirt’s label has the following statements:

THE ACLU DARES TO CREATE A MORE PERFECT UNION - BEYOND ONE PERSON, PARTY, OR SIDE.

With immigrant rights, trans justice, reproductive freedom, and more at risk, we're in courts and communities across the country to protect everyone's rights – and we need you with us.

“I’m not interested in luxury as a symbol of privilege. I’m interested in luxury as a symbol of truth in one’s own character," says Willy Chavarria. "Exquisite tailoring and craftsmanship worn to elevate one’s personal intent – that’s power. That’s fashion.”

This collection is a reflection of Willy's personal journey from his childhood in Huron, California to what has become a life of resilience and joyful self-expression. Poignant in its refined tailoring and distinguished fabrics, which were milled in Italy exclusively for the brand, each look speaks to a glorification of identity. A story of Huron, California, New York, New York and Paris, France all in the same cinematic manifestation.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection from Willy Chavarria is a bold and intentional continuation of the designer’s exploration of identity, resistance, and refined subversion. This season is marked by a focused narrative that centers on color as rebellion, a strong accessories debut, and elevated tailoring that honors immigrant expression and craftsmanship.

Willy Chavarria further expresses his love of women alongside the brand’s Head of Design, Rebeca Mendoza. Trench dresses, pencil skirts, suits all in expression of the woman who dresses for herself. She defines a fixed identity inspired by films from Pedro Almodóvar and Wong Kar-wai.

Willy Chavarria looks to past decades to create a subversive take on color and a rebellious play on what we have known as privilege. A re-examining of who belongs, with characters who are both new and nostalgic at once.

This season’s palette challenges traditional associations of the brand's color palette. Brights are not just decorative, they’re defiant. Key shades include Chicle, Papaya, Red Hot, Bourdin Blue, Butter, Uniform Green, Concrete, Masa.

Spring/Summer 2026 marks Willy Chavarria’s first complete accessories collection, centered on the signature "W" strapping detail, originally introduced in outerwear. This motif becomes a key design language across a range of leather goods including bolero bags in two sizes, oversized clutches, W totes, and small leather goods.

Crafted in Italy using premium Italian leathers – distressed luxe calf, shiny chocolate eel, smooth grain calf, and glazed finishes – these accessories arrive in an irresistibly rich palette: Red Hot, Chicle, Uniform Green, Bourdin Blue, and Butter.

The strength of the collection lies in its disciplined focus. Repetition of core silhouettes across diverse colors and textures creates visual clarity and emotional resonance.

Veterano shirts, dresses, and shorts are shown in up to 13 colorways and fabrications, including nine crinkled cottons woven with Inox—a technique that preserves their uniquely wrinkled, lived-in look.

Refined tailoring, entirely handmade in Italy, elevates the collection further. The introduction of the “Chilango” men’s silhouette, a relaxed, softly tailored shape with impeccable finishing, and the Nuevo Staple blazer for women; a sharply fitted style featuring a cinched waist, strong shoulders, and slim sleeves.

This season repositions leather not as seasonal outerwear, but as a foundational, all-year wardrobe material. Key pieces include the Bad Boy leather pants, Chuco leather blazer (the "Chuco" silhouette debuted in AW25), Chavela two-piece leather sets and dresses, coach jacket, and trench-style leather dresses.

All leathers and fabrics are sourced from specialized Italian mills and tanneries, with the exception of Jersey, Canvas, and Denim, which are produced in the U.S. and treated with custom garment washes for a unique finish.

The third expression of the adidas Originals x WILLY CHAVARRIA collaboration ushers in a new era of cotton-based uniform dressing, paired with a footwear collection that bridges together the world of high fashion and global street culture.

This chapter deepens the partnership’s commitment to bold silhouettes and emotional design—crafted to resonate with both the discerning fashion consumer and the everyday icon. It includes bold statements, innovative cuts, and a blend of streetwear aesthetics with high-performance elements, resulting in an inventive offering which pushes the boundaries of traditional fashion and sportswear, and stays true to the vision of social consciousness and identity expression.

For SS26, adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria introduces a completely new running model with the Megaride AG and Megaride AG XL, a radical design approach that generates newness through unexpected design collisions with technology, fashion, and streetwear codes converging. SS26 footwear will also introduce the Chavarria Superstar.

Beauty is a statement of strength.

In a celebration of Willy Chavarria’s long-standing admiration for the iconic French luxury footwear house Charles Jourdan, the brand unveils their first collaborative collection with the storied brand.

“Groupe Royer and their advisors Brandthinktank share the strong view that Willy Chavarria’s uniquely incisive creative vision, that of a storyteller of modern times can revive and progress Charles Jourdan’s more than 100-year cultural imprint, precisely reenergising its desirability at the intersection of audacity and refinement, especially at a pivotal time when fashion can communicate a strong point of view to the world at large,” stated Jacques Royer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Royer, the parent company of Charles Jourdan.

“Willy Chavarria is the rising figure of a new wave of ‘sophisticated irreverence’ creators, following in the footsteps of previous Charles Jourdan-lovers and formidable brand-shapers, all working from their passion for the brand and adding to its ever-unconfined artistic narrative, from Guy Bourdin, Richard Avedon, Andy Warhol, André Perugia and Andrée Putman, or Yasuyuki Tanaka, etc., all producing indelible collaborative acts,” added Pierre-Emmanuel Maire, Chief Executive Officer of Brandthinktank, Groupe Royer’s brand portfolio strategic advisors.

A lifelong dream realized, the collection reimagines beloved silhouettes from the Charles Jourdan archives through Willy Chavarria’s bold and humanistic lens—honoring the past while shaping the future. These are shoes for the women of today and tomorrow: women who move through the world with power, grace, and complete ownership of their sensuality.

Willy Chavarria is proud to partner with APICCAPS, the Portuguese Footwear Association, and Mariano Shoes, a fourth-generation Portuguese brand for the brand’s Paris Runway Show. This reflects a shared commitment to honoring craft while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.

Worldnet is Willy Chavarria’s Official Fashion Week Logistics Partner and supported the brand in transporting the collection from NYC to Paris.

Willy Chavarria is once again collaborating with Return to Vender (RTV) on eyewear and swim trunks presented in the SS26 show. Each piece is made from a combination of reclaimed fishing nets and a full range of performance upgrades which eliminates the need for new materials while ensuring that every product is fully recyclable.

Willy Chavarria’s SS26 collection cements Willy's belief that Fashion serves as a way to foster a collective identity of human empowerment. It can solidify a sense of belonging and pride in each of us. It was a way to celebrate unity while actively resisting oppression.
